Description:

The surface of the kidney is granular. Nothing else is remarkable.

Diagnosis: Nephrosclerosis

Causes:

  • Systemic hypertension

Theory:

The underlying histological change of nephrosclerosis is arteriolosclerosis of the arteries in the kidney.
