Description:

On the inner surface of the skull is there a well-demarcated, rounded, firm, solitary mass that is attached to the dura.

Diagnosis: Meningioma

Risk factors:

  • Ionizing radiation

Theory:

In high-grade forms of meningioma can the tumor infiltrate the skull or brain parenchyme.
